le film? avez-vous vu Paris, Je T'aime?

This post is going to be pretty humdrum. I'd probably just skip reading this one if I was you.

I woke up at seven to study before my quiz at ten. Our professor had promised to send us the list of things that would be covered on the quiz at 11pm last night, but when I checked my email this morning she had actually sent it at 12; I was long in bed. I tried my best to remember exactly what she was referring to for each of the bullet points, and studied all the material that it could possibly include. I did notice that she changed the page from which she would draw the dictation from p.197 to p.195. I had studied p.197 last night, so I spent my time studying p.195. I didn't feel like I really got anything done, but yet I was done studying early. I got dressed and dragged myself to class.

Let's just skip ahead. The quiz was absolutely terrible, and I'm pretty sure that I failed it (I'm sure that I'm not alone in this sentiment). The rest of class sped by surprisingly fast.

I went to the UC center after class to get my semester books, and then I went to the boulangerie. There was a line, considering that it was one, and a few of my classmates were in line ahead of me. I finally got my baguette and went home to study.

I'm actually getting kinda sick of having to sweep my floor after eating a baguette. Baguettes from the boulangerie near my apartment are so delicious I can hear baby angels singing while I eat it, but they get crumbs everywhere that I can feel under my feet if I don't sweep up immediately. While I was trying to enjoy the music of the baby angels, the familiar cackle of the girls down the hall drifted into my room. I had had enough. I was trying to rewrite my composition, and should at least be able to do it in silence (let's face it, studying doesn't equal an enjoyable afternoon). I marched down the hall and asked them to close the door. It worked….for a minute until they opened their door to "leave for sushi". I'm asking to have them written up tomorrow. I can't live like this.

I studied, and planned my weekend trips, and studied, and watched Judge Judy, and wrote my presentation.

I watched some Judge Judy before I decided to go buy a postcard for Alice and a birthday card for my mom which I had been planning to do for a few days now, but kept putting off. I walked to the bookstore down the street, but I didnt' like their selection. I then ducked into Hema and found a funny postcard for Alice and a pink card that says "Bisous" with flowers around it for my mom. I came home and wrote my cards. Then I shopped online for birthay gifts for my mom. I would tell you what they are, but shhhhh it's a surprise.

Then I watched tv and then took my shower. How boring is that. I'm going to have some ice cream before bed. I have class at 9am tomorrow.

Bonne nuit.
